3) Letters of Rec

Explain how you would like them to deliver the letters to you.

A good idea would be to ask them to save the letter on their computer for a short time in case you would like to use it for a different application, and then they can easily edit it. Ask them to give you two hard copies so that you have a backup. Ask them to sign them as well. If you need a digital copy make sure that you let them know. Give them a specific date that you will need the letter by so that you will be able to submit it on time.
