Regional Conference 2016

FBLA Regional Conference 2016 has come and gone. It's hard to believe that it was my last one! I've definitely loved going. It was a fantastic experience. I am constantly meeting new people, and the old friends that I find there are pretty great too. Regionals is also really fun because it is a chance to try out a new event before the State competition. That is something that I did this year. I partnered up with Maggie and Kiah, and we took on a performance event that we had never dont before. Going into it, I was fairly confident that we would do well because it was the type of event that you are able to prepare for and you give a presentation on a certain topic. We had prepared well, and so I wasn't worried. We did a fantastic job in my opinion, and apparently the judge thought that we rocked it as well because we placed first. That was a perfect way to end my last Regional Conference- I walked out of there with a first place medal around my neck.
