I finished my Leader Level BAA!! :D *happy dance* I can't believe that I actually finished it! I am seriously so proud of myself for getting it done. I am so grateful for Mrs. Moody though. Without her pushing me to finish, there would be no way that I would be doing it. She is definitely the best advisor out there. Shoutout to Mrs. Moody for being da real MVP! ;)
One of my last experiences that I needed to finish up was completing a mock interview. I think that this picture accurately sums up the struggles that I was having during my interview. Mrs. Moody arranged for me to interview with my principal, and so that was nerve-wracking. He's a super nice guy, but just the fact that I was interviewing for an internship- even though it was fake- kind of freaked me out. So I was super nervous. My resume wasn't a stand-out, but I do think that it is relatively impressive as far as a high school student resume's go. I knew that I was qualified to get the job, but the interview itself and answering questions about myself was something that I didn't really like. I think because I don't like to draw attention to myself, but I needed to talk about myself and sell myself to the interviewer so that he would want to hire me. I was given a paper of feedback, and a big one was that I needed to be more confident. For some reason right before I went into his office for the interview my nerves kicked in and I got all shaky and nervous. Which isn't the best state of mind to be in when you're trying to be confident and outgoing. But overall I don't think that it was that bad for my very first interview. He also said in my feedback that all of my qualifications seemed right in line for the job, so I just need to work on selling myself, and next time I'll totally kill it! :) I'm really glad that it was one of my required experiences. Real life is coming up soon, and that's something that will really help me in the long run- having practive being interviewed. Especially because I've never had a job before.
Still pumped that I finished my Leader Level!! :D Now on to completing America Level. Bring it on.
