As a high school student it seems like there is a lot of classes that we are required to take that make no sense at all. We find ourselves asking, "Why am I here, where is this class taking me, and can I leave now?". The courses where that question is most commonly asked seem to be the math classes. I'm not hating on math(well, maybe a little bit), but most students don't see the point of taking math. I think that math is an extremely valuable class that teaches you how to use your brain in great ways. Math will make you a more well-rounded and intellegent person once it's all said and done. Does that mean that you will always see the point of doing countless linear equations and finding the slope of a line? Absolutely not. I'm just using math as an example here.

In this example, let's compare math class to a business class. In a business class, students are working with a purpose. They are driven by their goals to succeed, and feel empowered when they complete their assignments. They are learning skills that they will be able to carry with them for the rest of their lives, and they know it. It's my opinion that more business classes should be required to graduate. It just makes sense.
